The task: Count the orders and add the sales for each region.

1 Watch how it is done

  1. Step 1: Count orders per region

    =COUNTIF($B$4:$B$13,E4)

    • Click F4.
    • Type =COUNTIF($B$4:$B$13,E4) and press Enter.
    • Drag the fill handle down to F7.
  2. Step 2: Add sales per region

    =SUMIF($B$4:$B$13,E4,$C$4:$C$13)

    • Click G4.
    • Type =SUMIF($B$4:$B$13,E4,$C$4:$C$13) and press Enter.
    • Drag the fill handle down to G7.
