The task: Give each student a rank: 1 for the highest marks.
1 Watch how it is done
Step 1: Rank each mark
=RANK(B4,$B$4:$B$12)- Click C4.
- Type =RANK(B4,$B$4:$B$12) and press Enter.
- The $ signs keep the list fixed when you copy down.
- Drag the fill handle down.
