The task: Compare this year's sales with last year's for each branch, as an amount and as a percentage.
1 Watch how it is done
Step 1: Find the change
=C4-B4- Click D4.
- Type =C4-B4 and press Enter.
- Drag the fill handle down.
Step 2: Find the growth %
=D4/B4- Click E4.
- Type =D4/B4 and press Enter.
- Press Ctrl + Shift + % to show it as a percentage (the file already has it).
- Drag the fill handle down.
2 Your turn
