The task: Bonus depends on sales: 30,000+ gets 1,500, 50,000+ gets 3,000, 80,000+ gets 5,000. Find each person's bonus and total pay.
1 Watch how it is done
Step 1: Look up the bonus
=VLOOKUP(C4,$G$4:$H$7,2,TRUE)- Click D4.
- Type =VLOOKUP(C4,$G$4:$H$7,2,TRUE) and press Enter.
- Drag the fill handle down.
Step 2: Add salary and bonus
=B4+D4- Click E4.
- Type =B4+D4 and press Enter.
- Drag the fill handle down.
