CSV to Excel Converter (and Excel to CSV, JSON or XML)

Encoding and delimiter detected, row counts checked on both sides. Free — no sign-up.

How to use it

  1. Choose your CSV, TSV or Excel file.
  2. Pick the output: Excel, CSV, TSV, JSON or XML.
  3. Press Run and download.

The delimiter (comma, semicolon, tab, pipe) and encoding are detected for you, and the row count is checked on both sides so nothing goes missing. Leading zeros and long numbers stay exactly as they were.

What you get

  • Converted file per input
  • Row-count reconciliation

Good to know

  • Formulas become values in CSV
  • Up to 20 MB per file, 10 files at a time.
  • Files are deleted from our server within an hour.

Questions

My CSV opens with everything in one column — will this fix it?

Yes. The delimiter is detected automatically and every value lands in its own column.

Are formulas kept?

Converting to CSV, JSON or XML keeps the values, not the formulas.
