How to use it

  1. Choose your files — up to 20 Excel or CSV files to combine, or one file to split.
  2. Pick Merge or Split by a column (and type the column header).
  3. Press Run and download.

Merging lines columns up by their header name, even when files have columns in a different order, and can add a Source file column so you know where each row came from. Row totals are checked: rows in = rows out.

What you get

  • Merged workbook or ZIP of split files
  • Reconciliation: rows in = rows out

Good to know

  • Up to 20 MB per file, 20 files at a time.
  • Files are deleted from our server within an hour.

Questions

My files have different columns — can I still merge?

Yes. Every column from every file is kept; missing values are left blank.

How do I split a file by region?

Choose Split and type the header, for example Region. You get one file per region.
